Job Title: Summer School Classroom Teacher

School:

Prime Prep – Dallas (Middle School 6-8)
Prime Prep – Dallas (High School 9-12)
Prime Prep – Fort Worth (Elementary K-5)

SESSION:

June 17th- July 26th  - 7:30am - 11:30pm ( Monday – Thursday)

Pay Rate : $25.00 an hour

REPORTS TO: Summer School Principal and/or other authorized administrators

NATURE OF WORK:

Provide instruction, assess and encourage student progress, and manage the learning environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Follow professional practices consistent with school and system policies in working with students, students’ records, parents, and colleagues.
  • Comply with school system, and state administrative regulations and Board of Education policies.
  • Demonstrate professional practices in teaching.
  • Act in a professional manner and assume responsibility for the total school program, its safety and good order.

TEACHING TASKS:

  • Provide Instruction:
    • Teach at an appropriate instructional level.
    • Provides content development.
    • Provide lesson summaries.
    • Assess and Encourage Student Progress5.
    • Promote student engagement.
    • Monitor student progress.
    • Respond to student performance.
  • Manage the Learning Environment
  • Use time wisely
  • Handle non-instructional tasks efficiently
  • Use instructional time appropriately.
  • Maintain effective physical setting for instruction.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior in the classroom

 

 

Campus: Dallas and Fort Worth

Position: Regional Marketing Account Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Salary: $50,000.00


Minimum Qualifications:

Prime Prep Academy is looking for a Regional Marketing Director (RMD); the RMD will be responsible for the following:

  • Create and Implement Fundraising Campaigns 
  • Design, implement and facilitate District Marketing Campaigns
  • Create Print and Electronic Advertising Campaigns
  • Implement Marketing Communications by branding, promotions, public relations and advertising 
  • Create Marketing Programs that support the Company Vision
  • Serve as an Liaison for the District
  • Communicate with community, in an effort to grow student population

 The ideal candidate must:

  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have the ability to travel
  • Be detailed oriented
  • Must have knowledge of charter school operations
  • Must have at least 3 years or classroom experience

 Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree (Required)
  • Masters in Education (Preferred)
  • 2 years Marketing Experience (Preferred)

Reports To: Cheif Financial Officer 
Salary: up to $65,000

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

B        Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education is preferred but not required

Experience Required:

  • Proven Track record of developing and implementing organizational support programs
  • Minimum three years fundraising experience

  • Demonstrated effective communication and people skills

  • Demonstrated strong leadership and team building skills

  • Knowledge of grant writing, proposal preparation and grassroots fundraising

  • Experience in Special Event Planning, Marketing Campaign Development and Implementation and Organizational Management 

 

 

Position: Recruiting Coordinator
Campus: Dallas
Salary: $25,000

Minimum Qualifications: 

Prime Prep Academy is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator; the Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Interfacing with the community to inform of Prime Prep Academy’s
  • mission, vision and purpose
  • Interfacing with colleges to identify scholarship opportunities
  • Impacting enrollment through individual and group presentations
  • Reporting daily results of activities to the Principal’s Office

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be detailed oriented
  • Must have knowledge charter school operations

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education; Master’s Preferred.

Experience Required:

·         Demonstrated success in previous teaching or student teaching experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to solve problems, manage conflicts, strong classroom management and demonstrates ability to work with a diverse student population.

Certification Required:

·         Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned. Preferred.

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education; Master’s Preferred.

·         Demonstrated success in previous teaching or student teaching experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to solve problems, manage conflicts, strong classroom management and demonstrates ability to work with a diverse student population. Bilingual (Spanish-English) required.

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education; Master’s Preferred.

Experience Required:

·         Demonstrated success in previous teaching or student teaching experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to solve problems, manage conflicts, strong classroom management and demonstrates ability to work with a diverse student population. Bilingual (Spanish-English) required. Minimum of 2 years as ESL teacher or Teacher’s Aide.

Certification Required:

·         Valid Texas Teaching Certificate Required

·         ESL Certification Required

Salary Range:  $35,500 and up 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education; Master’s Preferred.

Experience Required:

·         Demonstrated success in previous teaching or student teaching experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to solve problems, manage conflicts, strong classroom management and demonstrates ability to work with a diverse student population.  Complete knowledge of the Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) process, Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation. 

Certification Required:

·         Valid Texas Teaching Certificate Required with Special Education endorsement or license.
